Ordered two items and paid for expedited shipping. Nowhere on the order page was I given an ETA.
Emailed customer service to ask when I can expect delivery. 2 days later I get a reply stating the items are out of stock and could be up to 45 days, but in the eventuality they cannot fulfil the order they will refund the money.
This was unacceptable so I called to cancel the order. I was left on 'hold' (read: handset put down on desk and advisor walked off to speak to supervisor) for 5 minutes just listening to the ambient noises from the room before finally being greeted again with the heavy breathing of the advisor who had the personality of a plank of wood.
I was told the items are in process and cannot be cancelled. This basically told me that I made the mistake of ordering items from a site which acts as a middle man. However, not my problem. I advised that I will have to chargeback any money taken if they cannot fulfil a refund request within 48 hours of making an order which hasn't even shipped. The advisor raised her voice and talked over me and was quite rude when I explained I had no option but to chargeback.
Complete lack of training and customer service. No idea how they have been in business since 2001.

They steal your money! They send u order confirmation and few hours later u get email with all cancelled or part of your order is cancelled! Ive got his situation more than half of my orders! Word: CONFIRMATON means nothing for them! All they can say is "sorry". Cheaters and liars! Be carefull! Why they can tell "u cant buy this"! Always after u click pay u will notice that! Later!

Ordered a Blu-ray from them which I never received. Requested a refund from them & never received it until I escalated it with PayPal. Then which I believe was out of spite was told that a preordered item was out of stock, even though I had preordered it two months before release. Do yourself a favour & shop elsewhere.
If you’re ordering something they have in stock, you’ll get it in about a week. But if you’re pre-ordering, you’ll get it anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months after the release date.
I tried to cancel order only 30 minutes after ordering. I was charged $39.20. I founded the same item on Target for $17.29 + free shipping. I requested cancelation or honoring to match the price. I got nothing.
From now when I see company name Deep Discount Entertainment I will avoid any purchase. They charged me almost double.

So they cancelled part of my order that was backordered. Fair prices, but if you wish to change or cancel an order forget about it. Their CS is the worst, unhelpful and takes days to respond. Compared to the competition their website is a jumbled mess. Do business with them if you want to - I won't be back
These guys are the kings of trash.Such a trash site hard to find on the internet.This store doesn't need your money,this store doesn't care about reputation.They can cancel an order at any time.80% of the products on their site is missing.They do not respond to your letters.Pay only through PayPal,otherwise you will never see your money.Absolutely not recommended.This is an absolute garbage and scam
I preordered books that were supposed to arrive in early January.
I called when they did not arrive, and they told me they might be late and to expect them in 3-5 days.
A month later I called to follow up and see what happened, and they told me they never got them in the warehouse so the order was cancelled.
I asked them why they did not tell me it was cancelled, and they just kept saying, "we did not get them in the warehouse.
I told them that was the crappiest customer service experience I have ever had.
They did not care.
I asked to speak to a supervisor.
They said they did not have one available.
They advertised an item as for sale for a specific price. I got an email a day later stating that it was an “error in the price” and they refunded my money. That’s consumer fraud and false advertising. Their customer service responded by basically saying deal with it. I would never do business with them.

They cancelled my order after 2 days but didn't even refund me all my money back. It's not enough money to file a fraud report, but not getting back every penny after they cancelled on ME is really really frustrating...

My order took 4 days before it was even shipped out, that's pretty slow to me

I guarantee they take longer... I had a bunch of Banpresto figures on pre-orders here and all of my orders are now cancelled and I am dealing with TOM (Tokyo Otaku Mode) moving forward. Deep Discount has the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time.
